«Όχι Αστυνομία στα Πανεπιστήμια»

Διεθνής υποστήριξη –683 υπογραφές

Διεθνή υποστήριξη με σημαντική ανταπόκριση από καθηγητές/καθηγήτριες πανεπιστημίων και ερευνητές/ερευνήτριες από όλο τον κόσμο έχει λάβει η Πρωτοβουλία Πανεπιστημιακών «Όχι Αστυνομία στα Πανεπιστήμια». Εξακόσιοι ογδόντα τρεις(683)καθηγητές/καθηγήτριες πανεπιστημίων και ερευνητές/ερευνήτριες σε ακαδημαϊκά ιδρύματα της Ευρώπης, της Αμερικής, της Αυστραλίας και της Ασίας στηρίζουν την Πρωτοβουλία Πανεπιστημιακών «Όχι Αστυνομία στα Πανεπιστήμια» στον αγώνα ενάντια στο νομοσχέδιο της ελληνικής κυβέρνησης για τη σύσταση νέου σώματος ασφαλείας, της «Ομάδας Προστασίας των Πανεπιστημιακών Ιδρυμάτων». Η σύσταση του συγκεκριμένου σώματος, το οποίο θα βρίσκεται εκτός ελέγχου της πανεπιστημιακής κοινότητας, προσβάλλει την συνταγματικά κατοχυρωμένη αυτοδιοίκηση και αυτοτέλεια των ΑΕΙ, και αντιβαίνει στην ευρωπαϊκή ακαδημαϊκή παράδοση
